2017 EUROPEAN BEACH VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS – MEN’S DRAW

At the European beach volleyball Championships, the CEV sat down with Switzerland’s Nico Beeler and Marco Krattiger to ask them all the questions you would want to know. Their questions ranged from who is the best singer to who spends more time on their phone – both being Krattiger.
To finish the tournament, Beeler/Krattiger finished tied for ninth place, taking home $2,500 to share and earning 180 points to their Euro League total. The duo came out of pool play with a 2-1 record in Pool D and was able to win their first elimination bracket match against Latvia’s Edgars Tocs and Rihards Finsters. This though, was before they were eliminated themselves by the #5 seeded team of Grzegorz Fijalek and Michal Bryl of Poland.
Winning the men’s side of the tournament was Italy’s Daniele Lupo and Paolo Nicolai against Aleksandrs Samoilovs and Janis Smedins of Latvia.
