WATCH LIVE: Bronze and Gold Medal Matches at U23 Volleyball Worlds

2017 WOMEN’S U23 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Turkey and Slovenia will play for gold on Sunday at the 2017 FIVB U23 Women’s World Championships in Ljubljana. This is a true David-versus-Goliath matchup, with #2 Turkey facing off against tied-for-#34 (aka, last place) Slovenia, based on the most recent FIVB U23 World Rankings.

In the bronze medal match, the Dominican Republic and Bulgaria will play for 3rd. Dominican is the only country to have medaled in each of the prior two editions of this relatively-new tournament.

The bronze medal match will start at 4:30 PM Ljubljana time and the gold medal match starts at 7:00 PM Ljubljana time (GMT +2)

  • US East Coast Time: 9:30AM/12:00PM (Noon)
  • Dominican Republic Time: 10:30AM/1:00PM
  • Bulgaria Time: 4:30PM/7:00PM
  • Istanbul Time: 5:30PM/8:00PM
