After week two, Tours VB and Montpellier UC emerged as the only sides who have yet to drop a set. Tours, which was also the only home team to win its week two match, will be tested on Saturday, however, when they travel to the nation’s capital to square off against Paris Volley, which won the premier match of week two against Chaumont VB 52. The two sides, each of which includes an American rookie, battled to the tiebreaker set, with Paris winning 15-13. Paris middle Mitch Stahl, a 2017 All-American for UCLA, scored five points for his side, while his rookie counterpart, Chaumont setter Michael Saeta, a 2017 All-American for UC Irvine, was used primarily as a serving specialist. Paris Volley‘s Wouter Ter Maat had a match-high 29 points in victory.
