When Natália Zilio’s fans turned on their TVs to watch Fenerbahçe’s 2017–18 Turkish Women’s Volleyball League season opener against Bursa BŞB this Wednesday, they were worried about not seeing the star player on the team’s lineup. A frenzy of questions on volleyball social media followed, interrogating what had happened to last year’s Turkish League’s playoffs MVP. Natália was quick to go on her personal twitter account and clear any misled rumors about her situation:

“Hi, guys! I just want to leave a little message to everyone who is asking about my absence in the last games and friendlies. I have a knee injury, but I’m doing physiotherapy and all the necessary procedures to get back as fast as possible! I want to thank everyone for the messages, and say that everything is going well. Soon enough, I’ll be back, heheh. I am working with excellent professionals here in Fenerbahçe, and they are doing a great job in my recovery. Thank you all for the love and the strength!!! Super Kiss”

The fans are right to worry, as the 2012 London games gold medalist was instrumental in Fehnerbaçe’s 2016–17 Turkish League Championship run.
