Seven Big Ten volleyball teams were selected to the 2018 NCAA Volleyball Tournament. League teams account for five of the top eight seeded teams.

Minnesota’s Samantha Seliger-Swenson was named the Big Ten Player of the Year and Co-Setter of the Year, while Penn State’s Kendall White was tabbed Defensive Player of the Year. Illinois’ Jordyn Poulter also garnered Co-Settter of the Year nods, while Penn State’s Jonni Parker earned Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors.
