Relive Ecstasy of Stanford’s NCAA Title in 2:36 (VIDEO)

Led by senior captain Inky Ajanaku and a cast of long, lanky freshmen, the Stanford Cardinal won their record-tying 7th NCAA title in Division I women’s volleyball. The team was not only the youngest team in history to win the national title, but they were also the youngest team in history to even advance to the Final 4.

The final victory came via a 3-1 defeat of the Texas Longhorns in Columbus, Ohio, the culmination of a literal week-long journey and a figurative one that was many, many lifetimes in the making. Below, see the pure joy, passion, and ecstasy of the final day of that journey, distilled into a 2:36 second video with behind-the-scenes shots, highlights from the game, and of course the most important part of any championship program: dancing from the bullpen.
