SEC Player of the Week – Gabby Curry, Kentucky

SEC Offensive Player of the Week

Ole Miss’ Emily Stroup averaged 6.86 points and 6.14 kills per set this past weekend. Against No. 25 Tennessee, she registered her 1,000th career kill en route to a new single-match program record of 31 kills across four sets. On Sunday against Kentucky, Stroup recorded 12 kills, breaking the single-season record for kills in the process.

SEC Defensive Player of the Week

Kentucky’s Gabby Curry averaged 5.17 digs per set to anchor the UK defense as the Wildcats improved to 12-0 in conference play with wins over No. 11 Florida and Ole Miss.

SEC Co-Setters of the Week

Kentucky’s Madison Lilley averaged 12.17 assists per set in a 2-0 week for the Wildcats. She posted 33 assists against No. 11 Florida and 40 at Ole Miss.

LSU’s Lindsay Flory dished out 87 assists over eight sets in a pair of league road wins for the Tigers. She tallied 34 assists at Mississippi State, followed by 53 at Alabama.

SEC Freshman of the Week

LSU’s Whitney Foreman posted 2.69 points and 2.12 kills per set along with a .444 hitting percentage as the Tigers earned two conference road wins. She helped LSU to its first victory over Alabama since 2011, finishing with a career-high 13 kills and a .526 hitting percentage.
