The 12-woman SEC volleyball Community Service Team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts

Kentucky’s Gabby Curry was tabbed as SEC Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week, while Ole Miss’ Emily Stroup, Kentucky’s Madison Lilley and LSU’s Lindsay Flory and Whitney Foreman also were honored by the league.
Kentucky stayed perfect with a sweep of South Carolina, while Florida got back on the winning track with a sweep of Mississippi State. Missouri and Tennessee survived five setters to keep pace.

9th-ranked Florida and 19th-ranked Kentucky stayed perfect in SEC action with 8-0 and 6-0 marks, respectively. LSU, Texas A&M and RV Missouri all chalked up conference wins on Sunday as well.
Florida survived a road-test from South Carolina, while Missouri also picked up a road win at Ole Miss. Texas A&M and Arkansas held home court against Auburn and Mississippi State respectively.
Loyola Maryland freshman libero Katie Forsythe averaged 8.15 digs per set, posted three straight 30-plus dig matches, set a school record and made good on all 50 of her serve reception chances en route to VolleyMob Player of the Week honors.
Junior Emily Stroup delivered a dynamic performance, recording new career-bests 30 kills and 24 digs in the five-set win over LSU. The putaways marked a rally-scoring match record and the third-most all-time in program history.
