Morehead State’s Lohmeier Named OVC Player of the Year
Morehead State’s Olivia Lohmeier was selected as the 2018 Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year. SIUE’s Hope Everett was named the Freshman of the Year, while Murray State’s Becca Fernandez and UT Martin’s Brooke Gyori shared Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Murray State’s Rachel Giustino and Becca Fernandez earned player of the week nods for the second time in 2018, while SIUE’s Hope Everett and Austin Peay’s Kristen Stucker also received Ohio Valley Conference Week 10 nods.
10 Players Reach 1000 Kills, 3 Notch 1000th Dig on Week 8
Week 8 brought 10 players into the 1,000 kill club, bumping the total of active members to 99 players. Three others reached the 1,000 dig milestone, pushing the number of players in that group to 149 members.
