Three big upsets and six tie-break matches highlighted Thursday morning’s men’s pool play action in Xiamen. No. 30 seed Adrian Heidrich and Mirco Gerson of Switzerland knocked off third-seeded Austrians Alexander Horst/Clemens Doppler in three sets in Pool C, while 25th seeded Americans Ryan Doherty/William Allen also got in on the upset action.
