Italian Women’s Serie A Week 9 Update
Teams are flying all over the table in the past couple weeks as the pressure to win ratchets up another level. After a red hot start to the season, Savino Del Bene Scandicci has fallen to fourth place with 20 points. CEV teams,Imoco Volley Conegliano and Igor Gorgonzola Novara, are sitting at #1 and #2 respectively with 24 and 23 points. Similarly, Foppapedretti began with a lackluster opening to the season, but have leapfrogged Lardini Filottrano with 5 points to their 3. With only two weeks left, the standings are tight from top to bottom and will definitely continue to get shaken up.
