UTEP’s Alumni (Class of 2015) Jeane Horton has transferred out of French club Chamalieres and signed with Indonesian club Bandung Bank. According to the French club, the decision was mutual:

For personal reasons, Jean HORTON will no longer wear the colors of VOLLEYBALL CLUB CHAMALIERES.
The club and the player have terminated their contract by mutual agreement.

The 27-year-old Horton was a 2012 AVCA Division I All-American Teamer. Upon graduation she joined Germany’s GER VC Offenburg for a season, before playing two seasons with Chamalieres. She shared her personal excitement for new club in Instagram:,

Joining Horton in Indonesia will Greek national Eva Chantava, who last played in Brazilian Superliga’s Fluminese. Prior to this, the 27 year old spiker roamed most of Europe’s lower tier leagues. She was also featured in Bandung Bank’s Instagram:
This season, in addition to Horton and Chantava, Bandung Bank signed 7 additional players from defending Indonesian League champions Jakarta Electric PLN.
