Virginia Tech went the distance to hold home court against Wake Forest, while Florida State, Syracuse and Pitt also won at home. It took five sets for Louisville to get past Virginia and stay perfect with a road win. Clemson and NC State also picked up wins away from home.

- Virginia Tech outhit Wake Forest .375 to .167 in the decisive 15-9 fifth-set victory. The Hokies built a 5-1 lead into two aces, and never looked back, eventually closing the set on a 7-2 run, including three Jaila Tolbert kills.
- Ester Talamazzi posted 13 kills, 20 digs, two blocks and two aces to highlight the Virginia Tech effort.
- Georgia Tech’s Mariana Brambilla notched 19 kills and 21 digs in a losing effort against Florida State.
- Syracuse outhit North Carolina .365 to .155, including .517 to .135 in Set 3. The Tar Heels outserved the Orange 7-2 in aces.
- The 3-0 win over North Carolina marked Syracuse coach Leonid Yelin‘s 100th win with the Orange and the 580th of his career.
- Louisville rebounding from a .000 hitting effort in Set 4 to post a .400 clip in a 15-2 Set 5 win over Virginia. The Cardinals held the Cavaliers to a -.250 effort (1-7-24) in the finale.
- Louisville built a 6-0 lead, then allowed a kill and a block before closing out the night on a 9-0 run, including four Virginia miscues and a final putaway by Melanie McHenry. McHenry ended the match with 14 kills, 17 digs, three blocks and an ace.
- Both Miami and Clemson hit at a high level in the sweep with Hurricanes outdoing the Tigers .370 to .355. Brooke Bailey piled up a career-high 18 kills while hitting .361 in the three-set win for Clemson. Kolby Bird notched 17 putaways while hitting .515 for Miami.
- The sweep marked Clemson’s first win over Miami since 2011 and first road win over the Hurricanes since 2009.
- Nika Markovic (16), Layne Van Buskirk (14) and Kayla Lund (10) led Pitt to a sweep of Notre Dame to remain perfect at 21-0.
- The Panthers outhit the Irish .274 to .140, including a .429 effort in Set 3, and boasted a 51-30 advantage in kills.
- NC State racked up 11 blocks and outhit BC .282 to .138 in a four-set win. Teni Sopitan led the way offensively for the Wolfpack with 21 kills on a .364 hitting effort, while Melissa Evans added 12 kills and a match-high six blocks.
