2017 WORLD GRAND CHAMPIONS CUP

China is the lone country to remain undefeated at the 2017 FIVB Women’s World Grand Champions Cup after posting wins over Team USA and Brazil. They will be taking on Korea who is the only winless squad in the competition.

China’s Zhu Ting leads all scorers with 54 points in the competition, with 47 kills, five blocks and two aces while Yuan Xinyue comes in second for the Chines with 29 points. They are coming off a tough battle against Brazil, where Ting said: “they were lucky to win.” The Chinese crew came back from two match points down to take the lead and the win.

Leading the scoring for the Korean side is Lee Jaeyeong with 31 points on 28 points and three blocks. The Korean team has struggled at the tournament so far with two three-set sweeps against them with Japan taking the first match and Team USA in the second.

You can watch the video streamed below on the FIVB YouTube page, or the matches will be aired on The Olympic Channel.
