Sarmayeh Bank and Sada Cruzeiro will look to redeem themselves on day two of the 2017 FIVB Men’s Club World Championships. Both squads lost their opening round matches with Sarmayeh Bank losing after holding a 2-0 match lead while Sada Cruzeiro fell in three sets to Cucine Lube Civitanova.
Sada Cruzeiro is the reigning champions of the event but struggled to get things started off in the 2017 edition of Club Worlds. Robertlandy Simon Atles and Evandro M. Guerra led the losing effort with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Sarmayeh Bank went up 2-0 in their match against Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle but was unable to finish the match, falling in five. Mojtaba Mirzajanpour M. led the losing effort with 24 points while Seyed Mohammad Mousavi Eraghi added another 21 points.
