10 NCAA Division I Women’s Programs Still Awaiting Head Coaches

The NCAA Division I women’s volleyball coaching carousel continues to turn, most recently with Penn State’s hiring of Katie Schumacher, part of their 1999 NCAA Championship team, as its new assistant coach. That opened up a head coaching position at the University of Pennsylvania for the 2nd-straight off-season.

That leaves at present 10 head coaching positions open across the country (though, as some of these positions are filled, surely others will be opened).

Below, see a table of which positions remain open as of posting, and where those former head coaches have wound up.

Penn Katie Schumacher Hired as assistant coach at Penn State
