Upsets were at a minimum on Week 9 as just two ranked teams fell and two vote-getters suffered setbacks out of 59 matches. No. 13 USC was on both ends of an upset during the week.

Friday’s slate saw vote-getter Colorado knock off the No. 13 Trojans in a sweep, while vote-getter Louisville fell to unranked Miami (Fla.) in four sets.

Saturday brought just one upset with vote-getter Marquette falling to Butler in a five setter.

No. 13 USC bounced back from its Friday defeat with a five-set upset of No. 10 Utah in Salt Lake City.
