South Korean national team member Kim Yeon-koung is sharing the inside details of her life with the masses as part of Korean reality show Home Alone or “I live alone.”

Cameras follow the outside hitter in her home and throughout her time in China as a member of the Shanghai club team. Episodes show everything from the 30-year old’s pregame routine including nap time, eating, travelling to matches and more.

In an odd twist, the reality program shows other individuals watching Yeon-koung’s life unfold on video and commenting both vocally and through text and adding emojis  and other video alongside the documentary style footage.

Several episodes of the show, produced by Kocowa TV, are available on YouTube. The hitter is said to be featured on episodes 175-176, 188, 205 and many more, the most recent of which is episode 232 titled Routine before the Big Match. This is not Yeon-koung’s first foray onto television, having been a guest on Infinite Challenge, Non-Summit, Sister’s Slam Dunk and Running Man.

Yeon-koung joined the South Korean national team in 2005 and helped the team to a silver medal at the 2015 Asian Women’s Volleyball Champiomship and bronze medals at the 2017, 2013 and 2011 championships. She earned Best Outside Spiker honors at the 2017 event, one of four she has received since 2014. At the 2012 London Olympics, Yeon-koung was named MVP and best scorer.

On the club circuit, Yeon-koung began her career with Keungkuk Life (2005-09) before moving on to JT Marvelous (2009-11) and Fenerbahce (2011-17) before joining Shanghai in 2017.

With Fenerbahce, the outside hitter led the team to a CEV Women’s Champions League title in 2011-12, CEV cup title in 2013-14 and Turkish Volleyball League and Turkish Cup titles in 2014-15 and 2016-17.
