Pool standings are important because the winner of each pool advances directly to the quarterfinals. The second and third team in each pool will face off against one another in the Round of 16, which is a single elimination match. The American team of Hyden and Bourne have now clinched Pool D and will move on to the quarterfinals, but the remaining three pools have yet to be decided.

Tomorrow begins the third and final day of pool play.
