Cesca Racraquin has decided to leave Creamline Cool Smashers and sign with PVL’s defending champion Pocari Sweat for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League season, which will start in April, according to Spin.ph.

The 5’7″ libero Racraquin, who occasionally plays as an outside hitter, was NCAA Season 92’s rookie of the year, and helped Creamline reach a 3rd place finish at last season’s PVL. Pocari sweat will have to wait a little while, though, to have her in uniform, as she is currently defending La Salle University’s colors in NCAA play. Her team is currently 4-0 in the competition, tied with Arellano University for the early season lead.

Pocari Sweat has just went through a merger with team Air Force. The union between the two teams will be an experiment as they will be in a rebuilding year since losing a number of their key players. Pocari will be the name of the team for the year, but the majority of players will be coming in from Air Force. Left from Pocari’s original squad are Finals MVP Myla Pablo, Elaine Kasilag and Jeanette Panaga. These players helped Pocari to three championships and a runner-up position in the last two Reinforced and Open Conferences.
