Serbian opposite hitter Aleksandra Terzic has finally signed a contract to play the 2017-18 season. According to Worldofvolley, she will be joining Indonesia’s Jakarta Popsivo Polway Volleyball Club. Terzic is no stranger to “exotic” leagues. Last year, she played in Greece’s AO Thiras, and in the 2013-14 season she played for Thailand’s BGVC. She has also played a few seasons in Turkey’s top league.
Jakarta Popsivo won Indonesia’s Proliga in 2012 and 2013, while also reaching the finals in 2015. Indonesia’s Proliga is quickly becoming a favorite destination of players close to retiring as a way to make a few extra dollars before finally moving away from the hardwood.
