The top four seeds are through to the quarterfinals after blazing through their foes on Day 1 of the main draw on Manhattan Beach.

Only one of the 12 matches involving the teams was decided in a third set, with No. 2 Billy Allen and Stafford Slick topping No. 7 Jeremy Casebeer and John Mayer 21-18, 20-22, 15-9 in the third round.

Also through to the quarters are No. 1 Taylor Crabb and Jake Gibb, No. 3 Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena and No. 4 Trevor Crabb and Sean Rosenthal.

Crabb/Gibb topped the No. 32, No. 17 and No. 9 seeds en route to the fourth round. Allen/Slick downed No. 31, No. 15 and No. 7. Dalhausser/Lucena made quick work of No. 30, No. 14 and No. 6 Theo Brunner and Casey Patterson (21-15, 21-8). Crabb/Rosenthal moved past No. 29, No. 20 and No. 5 seed Ryan Doherty and John Hyden (21-13, 21-14).
