Bundesliga’s club Bisons Buhl has announced in its official website that it has signed recent UCLA graduate Jake Arnitz to its roster. The 6’7″ outside-hitter, ready to debut as a professional, was a multi AVCA All-American and VolleyMob All-American selection during his Bruins career. When all was said and done, he  fulfilled his eligibility ranked fourth on the all-time school career lists for kills, total points and total attacks.

Here is how hiis new coach Ruben Wolochin reacted to the transfer:

“Jake is a complete player despite his young age. Especially in our offense, we can now look forward to a very dynamic and combative outside setup. With him, Bruno Lima and the two middle blockers Akhror Sobirov and Matt Seifert, we have significantly strengthened the Bisons squad 2018/19 and are a harder squad to figure out.”

At his new club, he’ll find a Bisons team that finished its last Bundesliga season in 8th place with an 8-12 record. Before fully committing to the team though, he’ll join fellow Buhl teammate Seifert in Mexico with Team USA for the 2018 Pan Am Cup.
