NCAA Beach Championships

With one half of the national title match bracket decided with No. 4 Florida State topping No. 3 Hawaii 3-2 Saturday to move on, the other half will have to wait until Sunday morning.

The Sandbows will meet No. 1 seed UCLA in an elimination match at 11:30 a.m. ET with the winner earning the right to try to knock off the Seminoles and the loser going home.

All matches will be streamed live on ESPN3.com. The elimination game will air live on ESPN2, while the final is slated to be broadcast on ESPN.

Hawaii fell to the loser’s bracket with their Saturday loss to FSU, which ended a 32-match win streak, while UCLA played through two matches on Saturday to stay alive, besting No. 7 seed LSU 3-0 and knocking off two-time defending national champion USC 3-1 to stay in the hunt.

The Sandbows (37-4) and Bruins (38-4) will face off for the fourth time in 2018. Hawaii won 5-0 on the opening day of the season (Feb. 24) and UCLA countered with a pair of victories on Feb. 25 (3-2) and March 8 (4-1).

Hawaii and FSU have met twice this season with the Seminoles taking both contests: March 10 (4-1 FSU) and Saturday (3-2 FSU).

FSU and UCLA have met twice in 2018 with the Bruins winning both: March 11 (3-2 UCLA), March 30 (4-1 UCLA).
