AVCA Poll Remains Unchanged for First Time Since 1983

You have to look all the back to Oct. 17, 1983 for the last time the AVCA poll remained unchanged from week to week within a season. The Oct. 10 and Oct. 17, 1983. Fast forward 34 years and hundreds polls and here we sit.

In the Oct. 23, 2017, AVCA Coaches Poll, Penn State still occupies the No. 1 spot, followed by Stanford, Texas, Florida and Minnesota. 

There were just two upsets on the books in Week 9 action. No. 19 USC fell to vote getter Colorado, but rebounded with a win over No. 12 Utah.

For the second week in a row, here is the AVCA Top 25.
