The Brazilian women are deep in their summer season, having already played in the Montreux Volley Masters and with three more international affairs on tap.

As they continue gearing up for the World Grand Prix in July, the team will polish its skills in a pair of friendlies against Poland, June 27 and 29 in Belo Horizonte and Sao Paulo.

Not that the brush up is necessary after the side won its seventh Montreux Masters title June 11, downing Germany in the championship match after topping China in the event semifinals.

Poland is a familiar foe as the teams played to a 3-1 result in favor of Brazil in the opening round of the Montreux Masters, June 6. Poland posted a 3-1 record at the event, bouncing back with wins over Thailand, Germany and Switzerland.

Brazil is the defending World Grand Prix champions, and have won three of the last four titles (also 2013 and 2014).

Brazil added Juciely Cristina da Silva Barreto to the already talented Montreux Masters side, which featured three members of its 2016 Olympic team.
