Lube Civitanova officially presented Robertlandy Simon to fans this week. The event was a big party, with music, decoration, and included a photo and autograph session. Simon reacted very emotionally to it all:
“I’ve had a beautiful impression, both of the arena and this wonderful evening with fantastic fans, I felt like crying. I can not wait to start playing, I hope the two months left until the start of the season will go by very fast. We want to start well from the beginning of the season in order to fully reach our goals. It will be an international Lube, ready to contend in all the events. We will work hard for this because nothing is impossible: it will be a challenge for ourselves.”
Team owner Fabio Giulianelli was likewise radiant:
“We needed to raise the team in a strong and determined way, looking for players and characters who have only one component in their DNA: winning. It will be a mature Lube, with precise and dry objectives, a big responsibility for everyone, coach, staff, players, society. The A1 field is very strong, certainly the strongest set up during our history. We want to make every game exciting. If we achieve that, it will mean that we have made our fans’ dreams. The turnout tonight showed the great enthusiasm that surrounds us: we are close to reaching 2000 season ticket holders.”
