Reaching 1,000: The Newest 1,000 Kill & 1,000 Dig Club Members

Six players joined the 1,000 kill club and six more registered their 1,000th dig on Week 6.

Seventy nine active players boast 1,000 kills, while 141 active players have notched 1,000 digs. Thirty-seven players have joined the ranks of players with 1,000 digs thus far in 2018.

Five players are approaching the even more elite 1,000-kill, 1,000-dig club.

1,000 Kill Club Members

  • 1,033 – Alyssa Enneking, Oklahoma – The senior outside hitter racked up 23 kills and 19 digs against Kansas on Wednesday to surpass the 1,000 kill milestone.
  • 1,023 – Jacey Smith, Abilene Christian – The senior needed just two kills to reach 1,000, but delivered a match-high 25 in the team’s five-set comeback win over Incarnate Word on Saturday.
  • 1,021 – Lauren Bruns, Dayton – The senior outside hitter notched 17 kills in the Flyers’ 3-1 win over Davidson on Friday to push past 1,000 kills. 
  • 1,016 – Abby Garrity, Idaho State – With 11 kills in a sweep of Eastern Washington on Wednesday, the senior outside hitter eclipsed 1,000 kills.
  • 1,011 – Taylor Cunningham, Sam Houston State – the senior downed 15 kills and added 10 digs, while surpassing the 1,000 dig milestone on Thursday against Incarnate Word.
  • 1,005 – Allie Barber, Marquette – The junior outside hitter had a milestone night on Saturday, notching 15 kills against Villanova to join the 1,000 kill club.

Newest 1,000 Dig Club Members

  • 1,044 – Rylee Cookerly, Valparaiso – The sophomore notched a team-best 18 digs in a Friday sweep of Drake to reach 1,000 digs and lead the Crusaders to a program-best 17-2 start.
  • 1,023 – Sarah Bell, Southern Miss – The senior setter pulled up her 1,000th career dig with a 46-assist, 12-dig effort in a five-set battle against Western Kentucky on Friday.
  • 1,017 – Kat Miller, Quinnipiac – The senior right side notched 20 digs in a five-set affair with Fairfield on Monday to reach 1000 saves.
  • 1,012 – Mallory Rajewski, Eastern Michigan -Rajewski dished out 17 assists and added 11 digs to make her just the fifth player in EMU history with 2,500 assists and 1,000 digs.
  • 1,005 – Samantha Seliger-Swenson, Minnesota – The senior setter posted her 1,000th career dig against Indiana on Saturday.
  • 1,004 – Abby Ihrke, Bradley – With 13 digs against Evansville on Saturday, the senior libero joined the ranks of the 1,000 dig club.
