According to Italy’s LaGazzettadelloSport, Wilhite has undergone an X-ray exam, which showed no breaks, only a severe ankle sprain. The Team has not commented on a timetable for her return.

Most recently, she was in Team USA’s roster for the 2017 FIVB Grand Prix and 2017 Grand Champions Cup.

Busto Arsizio currently occupies the 4th place in Seria A1, with 3 wins and only 1 loss.  Team USA player Michelle Bartsch, also an outside hitter, will have to work overtime until Wilhite recovers.
