Top 25 Rewind: Week 10 Featured 10 Upsets

The Pac-12 continued with its topsy-turvy results, with the exception of league leader No. 2 Stanford, while a few other conferences saw mixed results as well.

In Pac-12 action, No. 16 Oregon downed No. 11 Utah in four sets on Wednesday. On Friday, the Utes were bested by vote-getter Oregon State in four sets, while No. 15 Washington held home court against No. 13 USC, No. 25 Colorado knocked off No. 16 Oregon in five and No. 17 UCLA fell to unranked Washington State in five.

Other upsets on the week included: Miami (Fla.) topping vote-getter N.C. State in a sweep in Friday’s ACC action. Meanwhile, Illinois State upset No. 18 Northern Iowa in five sets in Missouri Valley play. No. 22 San Diego downed No. 8 BYU in West Coast Conference action to knot the teams at 10-1 atop the league standings.

Saturday saw No. 9 Kansas fall to No. 23 Iowa State in four sets at home, extending Texas’ lead in Big 12 play.

On Sunday, vote getter Purdue fell to unranked Maryland on the road in five.
