Cucine Lube Civitanova will look to remain undefeated in the 2017 FIVB Men’s Club World Championships as they take on PGE Skra Belchatow in the semifinals.
Lube started things off with a three-set win over Sada Cruzeiro followed by a five-setter over Zaksa Kedzierzyn-Kozle on day two. Their final day of the competition saw a sweep over Sarmayeh Bank to remain unbeaten so far. Leading the scoring in the most recent win was Osmany Juantorena with 23 points while Tsvetan Sokolov added another 18.
For Skra, their journey started much the same with a sweep over Shanghai along with a four-set victory against Personal Bolivar. On day three they did fall to Zenit Kazan with Mariusz Wlazly who posted 10 points.
