Full Team Rosters For Brazil’s Men’s And Women’s Teams Announced

10 days after announcing their first 10-player rosters, both of Brazil’s national team head coaches went ahead and released their full teams. Renan Dal Zotto‘s first list looked more like a practice squad than anything. His second list is what should be taken into account, as 5 2016 Olympic gold medalist were called back into action:

Bruninho (Modena)
Thiago Veloso (Sesc)

Opposites
Wallace Souza (Sesc)

Middle Blockers
Mauricio Souza (Sesc)
Otavio (Taubate)
Eder Carbonera (Trentino)

Outside hitters
Mauricio Borges (Taubaté)
Lucas Loh (Halkbank)

Liberos
Thales Hoss (Taubate)

William ArjonaLucas Saatkamp, and Evandro Guerra are currently playing Superliga’s finals and will join the team at the end of it.

José Roberto Guimarães was more conservative in his first list, calling all his major players. His second list was only complimentary, calling players who were playing in Superliga’s finals and a few more pieces to round up his practice squad. The following players will join Macris Carneiro Tandara Caixeta, Thaisa Daher, Ana Carolina Silva, Adenízia Silva, Beatriz Correia, Mara Leão, Jaqueline Endres, and Rosamaria Montibeller in training:
