Brazil’s Larissa Franca and Talita Antunes are through to the championship match after a pair of straight set wins on Saturday in the quarterfinals and semifinals. Larissa/Talita defeated Germany’s Chantel Laboureur and Julia Sude in the quarters and took down countrywomen. Agatha Bednarczuk and Eduarda “Duda” Lisboa in the semis.

Agatha/Duda earned their spot in the semis with a win over Czech Republic’s Kristyna Kolocova and Michala Kvapilova.

Canada’s Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes will battle Larissa/Talita in the final after winning a pair of three-set matches. Pavan/Humana-Paredes edged Swiss duo Joana Heidrich and Anouk Verge-Depre 21-15, 26-28, 15-10 in the quarters and snuck past Americans Kerri Walsh Jennings and Nicole Branagh 21-13, 19-21, 16-14 in the semis.

Walsh Jennings/Branagh moved into the podium matches by topping fellow Americans Summer Ross and Brooke Sweat.
