Semifinal 1: Zenit Kazan def. Berlin Recycling Volleys 25-21, 25-22, 25-13

Semifinal 2: Sir Sicoma Colussi Perugia def. Cucine Lube Civitanova 25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 25-21, 15-9

Bronze medal match: Cucine Lube Civitanova def. BR Volleys 29-27, 22-25, 25-21, 25-21

Gold medal match: Zenit Kazan def. Sir Sicoma Colussi Perugia 25-15, 25-23, 25-14

 

The CEV Champions League named its Dream Team and MVP following Sunday’s bronze and gold medal matches in Rome.

Maxim Mikhailov of Zenin Kazan earn MVP honors after posting 19 points (15 kills, 3 blocks, 1 ace) in the gold medal match and 14 points (12 kills, 1 block, 1 ace) in Saturday’s semifinal win.

Outside hitter Wilfredo Leon Venero and middle blocker Artem Volvich of Zenit Kazan also made the CEV Dream Team. Middle blocker Marko Podrascanin, outside Ivan Zaytsev, opposite Aleksandar Atanasijevic and setter Luciano De Cecco of silver medalists Sir Sicoma Colussi Perugia rounded out the Dream Team alongside Cucine Lube Civitanova libero Jenia Grebennikov.
