After two days of pool play, the women’s field is down to 24 teams, while the men are set to wrap up pool action on Thursday at the CEV European Beach Championships.
With the Gstaad Major under way, the Beach Major Series announced its wildcard entries for the Vienna Major, which will be played July 30 – August 5 on Danube Island.

Three American teams, 10 of Top 15 seeds will play in the Xiamen Round of 16 on the women’s side, while three Brazilians duos, 11 of Top 15 will be in action on men’s side in Xiamen.
The Xiamen Four-Star kicked off with 14 men’s matches and four women’s matches in the first qualifying round. Three men’s matches went to tiebreak, while Americans Doherty/Allen and Kolinski/Evans moved on to Thursday’s second round.
