Three New 1,000/1,000 members; 9 1000-Kill Efforts; 19 with 1000 Digs

As the 2017 reguar season winds down, more players are reaching career milestones.

The 1,000 kill club has swollen to 142 members, while the 1,000 dig club expanded to 225. The elite 1,000/1,000 club has increased to 32 active members.

A breakdown of the Week 13 additions follows.

 

1,000-Kill Club

Nine more players joined the ranks of the 1,000 kill club on Week 13, upping the current tally of members to 142.

 

1,000-Dig Club

Nineteen players reached the 1,000 dig milestone on Week 13.

 

Fresno State’s Jacqueline Hutcheson joined the club on Monday against UNLV, bringing her total to 1,016.

 

1,000 Kill/1,000 Dig Club

Three players joined the 1,000 kill, 1000 dig club:

  • Ashley Muench, UNC Greensboro – 1,000 digs and 1,535 career kills.
  • Brooke White, Sam Houston State –  1,001 digs and 1,281 kills.
  • Skyler Day, Fairfield/Buffalo -1,020 digs and 1,397 kills

 

Approaching the 1,000/1,000 club is:

  • Allie Loitz, Villanova/Pepperdine – 947 digs and 1,079 kills; next match: 11/24 vs. Creighton, Big East Tournament
