As the nation’s lone undefeated team at 14-0, Long Beach State is No. 1 in the country in the AVCA poll for the seventh-straight week after a four-set win over then No. 2 UCLA on Wednesday.

Hawaii and UCLA traded places, with the Rainbow Warriors moving up to No. 2 with a weekend split against UC Irvine, and the Bruins falling to No. 3 as a Friday loss to Pepperdine extended their current losing streak to three matches (including two losses to No. 1 LBSU).

UC Irvine, crept up a spot to No. 4 with Sunday’s win over Hawaii. BYU took over the No. 5 spot, with a one position move after a pair of wins over Stanford.

Ohio State plummeted four spots from No. 4 to No. 9, falling to Lewis via sweep and Loyola in five sets, both on the road. For the wins, the Flyers jumped from No. 9 to No. 7 and the Ramblers climbed from eight to six.

Other big movers in the poll were Ball State, which moved up three spots to No. 11 and Penn State, which dropped from No. 7 to No. 10 with a straight-set loss to George Mason on Friday.
