The numbers were undeniable on Week 7 as Mount Olive’s Robert Poole chalked up huge all-around statistics en route to VolleyMob Player of the Week honors.
The senior opposite averaged 4.44 kills and 3.11 digs per set, while hitting .359 in sweeps of Coker, Belmont Abbey and Queens (NC). The Enfield, England, native tallied 11 kills, seven digs, three aces and two blocks against Coker. Poole then notched 15 kills and eight digs vs. Belmont Abbey. He wrapped up the week with a 14-kill, 13-dig double-double to go with four aces and two blocks against Queens. For his efforts, Poole also was tabbed as Conference Carolinas Player of the Week.

Matthew McLaren, Penn State – RS Jr., OH
Averaged 3.43 kills and 1.71 digs per set, while hitting .391 in wins over Sacred Heart and Harvard; tallied 13 kills, three digs and three aces, while hitting .435 in a four-set win over Sacred Heart; notched 11 kills, nine digs and three aces, while hitting .348 in a sweep of Harvard
Matthew McManaway, North Greenville – Sr., MB
Averaged 3.57 kills, while hitting at a .525 clip; posted 15 kills, two digs and a block while hitting .462 in a four-set win over Emmanuel; notched a team-best 10 kills, five blocks and three aces, while hitting at a .643 clip in a sweep of Lincoln Memorial
Mitch Weiler, Ball State – Sr., OH
Averaged 3.71 kills and 2.71 digs per set, while hitting .345 in upset wins over No. 8 Lewis and No. 6 Loyola; tallied 12 kills, seven digs and four aces, while hitting .296 in a sweep of Lewis; posted a 14-kill, 12-dig double-double while hitting .393 in a four-set win over Loyola
David Wieczorek, Pepperdine – RS Jr., OH
Averaged 4.11 kills and 1.11 digs per set, while hitting .360 in wins over No. 4 UC Irvine and No. 15 USC; notched 19 kills, four digs, three aces and two blocks, while hitting .350 in a four-set win over UCI; tallied 18 kills, six digs, three blocks and an ace, while hitting .371
