It’s a Party in Cordoba, Argentina for the 2017 FIVB World League

2017 FIVB WORLD LEAGUE – GROUP 1

Pool G1 play begins in Cordoba, Argentina on Saturday, with hosting duties first matches of the 2017 FIVB World League to take place in the Western Hemisphere. The host team Argentina will welcome in the defending Olympic champions Brazil, the defending World League champions Serbia, and Bulgaria for a set of 3 matches at the 14,000 seat Orfeo Superdomo. The Superdomo, opened in 2002, hosted legs of the 2002 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship as one of its first major duties, and also hosted the Final 6 of the 2010 FIVB World League.

The 16th-century city of Cordoba is home to 1.3 million residents and is the country’s second-most populous city after the capital Buenos Aires.
