A coach is never satisfied, just ask Brazilian men’s coach Renan Dal Zotto.
After his team went 2-1 in Pool A1 in Pesaro, Italy, last week in FIVB World League play, bouncing back from a heartbreaking five-set loss to Poland to top Iran and Italy, Dal Zotto wants more.
“When we win, we are satisfied, of course, but we need to analyze technically,” Dal Zotto said. “We know that we still have a long road to evolve.”
One thing that the first year coach noted was not lacking was the drive of his team.
“I am very happy because the guys have committed themselves to the utmost all the time,” Dal Zotto said. “We play every point like it’s the last one and that spirit is really cool. Moreover, we had good times in the game, some oscillations during the set, but we will improve.”

The team is led by Evandro Guerra, who led all players with 68 points in the opening weekend of World League action.
