Tickets on Sale for Canadian-Hosted Women’s Grand Prix Matches

Tickers are now on sale for the 6 matches of the Richmond, British Columbia, Canada site of the FIVB Women’s Grand Prix. The event will take place in the Richmond Olympic Oval, which played host to speed skating at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, from July 21-23.

Teams playing in the Richmond pool:

  • Canada – World #19 (hosts)
  • Germany – World #13
  • Peru – World #29
  • Czech Republic – World #25

The group is officially labeled Pool G2 of Group 2, which is the 2nd-tier of the 3-tiered tournament. Each team will play at 3 separate pools scattered around the world, and the best teams will advance to the Final four that takes place in the Czech Republic in early August.

The Richmond Oval has been christened as the new home of Canadian women’s volleyball, and is where they will have training cmaps, etc.

Ticket prices for the event range from $12 CAD for youth groups to $60 CAD for premium court-side searing for the whole weekend. A single-day adult ticket, which grants admission to multiple games, costs $21.69 CAD ($16 USD), while a single day youth ticket costs $16.52 CAD ($12.50 USD).
