The quarterfinals of the NIVC are set for Sunday through Wednesday in three locations. The remaining eight teams represent the Big 12 (3), SEC (2), ACC, Big West and Horizon League.
First up, Georgia (22-11) will take on Ole Miss (19-14) in Oxford at 2 p.m. ET Sunday. Georgia was the automatic qualifier from the SEC after finishing fifth, while Ole Miss finished seventh in the league.
Monday brings a matchup between Syracuse (20-13) and West Virginia (20-12) in Morgantown at 6 p.m. ET. Syracuse was the automatic qualifier out of the ACC after finishing tied for fifth, while West Virginia was the automatic qualifier out of the Big 12 after finishing fifth.
On Wednesday, two matches will take place in Fort Worth. First, UC Irvine (24-7) will take on Texas Tech (16-14) at 5 p.m. then TCU (14-16) will play host to Green Bay (17-15) at 8 p.m.
UCI was the automatic qualifier out of the Big West after finishing third, while TTU was selected at-large from the Big 12 after finishing tied for sixth. TCU also received an at-large berth out of the Big 12 after finishing tied for sixth, while Green Bay earned an at-large selection out of the Horizon League after finishing fourth.
The winners of the Fort Worth matches will play in a semifinal on Thursday. The location for the second semifinal match will determined by Sunday and Monday’s winners.
The NIVC championship is set for 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday, December 12. The match will air be broadcast live on ESPN3.
