The partnership that allowed José Roberto Guimarães to build a team that had in it Carli Lloyd, Thaisa Daher, Katarzyna Skowronska, and Jaqueline Endres is set to continue as Hinode, one of Brazil’s biggest cosmetic companies, has confirmed it will extend its sponsorship deal with Barueri Vôlei. Here is what the successful national team coach had to say of the news (Melhordovolei.com.br):
“Hinode has shown itself to be much more than just a sponsor, but a true partner in the growth of this team. They have believed in us from the very beginning and I am sure that this partnership will continue to bear fruit both on and off the court. We just have to thank Hinode for helping us realize this dream. We still have a lot to build together. More important than the results we have achieved so far is the legacy for the city, for the families and for the young people of Barueri. Our goal is to fight for ever greater achievements and for this we will also need more partners.”
Barueri‘s marketing manager, Alessandro Rodrigues, was likewise excited:
“When José Roberto presented us with his dream of setting up a team in Barueri, we knew that we were joining a winning project, which has many similarities to the history of our company, which also has a family origin, values female leadership, bets in the quality of life through attitudes that we respect, and bets on teamwork. We are very satisfied and we believe that we will still conquer many things together. We are a company that values quality in our products mainly to make people feel happy and beautiful every day. Nothing better than a team of women who represent this attitude to represent us.”
After having finished Superliga’s regular season in 5th place and dropping out of the competition in the quarterfinals, fans now wonder what kind of team José Roberto Guimarães and Hinode will be setting up for their next season together.
